How KONNEKT uses and protects your information

Who we are
KONNEKT is run by Geneviëve Afania, trading as TranscendX Consulting & Advisory Services (KKF 167483), Maripalaan 5, Paramaribo, Suriname. TranscendX decides how your information is used in KONNEKT and is responsible for it.

What we keep
Your name and contact details; contact persons of your organisation; what you do and where; your plans, projects and the parties involved in them; the help you asked for; documents you or we upload (for example registrations, quotations, receipts, agreements and consent forms); and the history of our work with you, including quotations and payment status. We never store card or bank account details.
Why we use it
To look for funding and support opportunities that may suit you, to assess them, to prepare applications you ask us to support, to support projects after an award when this is agreed, to keep proof of what was agreed and paid, and to contact you. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Your consent
We ask for your consent before we keep your information, and we record when and how you gave it and who may see it. Without consent, your profile is not used to look for opportunities. You can withdraw your consent at any time on your KONNEKT page or by contacting us.
Who can see it
Only the KONNEKT team and the facilitator assigned to you. Internal notes and contact details are never shown to other clients or partners. We share information with a funder, partner or sponsor only after you have agreed to it for that specific purpose.
Services that process your information for us
- Hosting: KONNEKT and its database run on Render (Render Services, Inc.), with servers in the United States.
- AI writing and research assistants: the KONNEKT team uses Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI) to help organise information and prepare documents. We share only what a task needs. A person in our team checks the results; AI does not make decisions about you.
- Email: when email sending is set up, messages from KONNEKT are sent through an email provider. [PROVIDER TO BE CONFIRMED]
These services are outside Suriname. By giving consent, you agree that your information may be processed there for the purposes above.
How long we keep it
While you work with us, and afterwards for [RETENTION PERIOD TO BE CONFIRMED], unless the law requires us to keep records longer (for example financial records). After that, we delete or anonymise it.
Your choices
You can see and update your information, download a copy, and withdraw your consent at any time from your KONNEKT page. You can also ask us to correct or delete your information by contacting us.
Security
Your information is stored in a protected database. Access depends on each person's role. Every view, change, download and export is recorded. Documents are never publicly available.
Changes
If we change this notice, we show the new version here with its date.
